Lack of AX support in Pages 2 and Keynote 3

I wish some of the iWorks engineers would also glance at this list every once in a while because I am really disappointed that almost a year after Apple introduced VoiceOver neither Pages nor Keynote provide access to the contents of their main documents windows through the AX API. I had filed bugs against the previous versions and have filed bugs against the new versions of Pages and Keynote (4428239 and 4428242). And, in case someone wonders why I filed new bugs rather than updating the old ones, I have no access to my own bug reports against iApps, they become privileged soon after filing.

It is really hard to explain my customers that they should not use Apple's own Keynote or Pages but stick to TextEdit or Nisus Writer Express.

david.
