Come to think of it, Apple only needs to implement AXMoved/AXResized in
those elements that are capable of moving/resizing in window-relative terms,
because observing the AXWindowMoved and AXWindowResized notifications allows
assistive apps to respond to all other cases. Maybe this is what you meant
when you talked about the original design goal.
If split panes, splitters, drawers, sheets and perhaps a few other UI
elements implemented AXMoved/AXResized, we'd be all set.
