I've got a popup menu that shows selections of colors in the individual menu items as a block of the appropriate color (using attributed menu title text) for which I want the accessibility description returned for VoiceOver (foe instance) to be the localized color name. Unfortunately, I cannot set the non-attributed title to the color name (for reasons that are irrelevant here). This then becomes a conundrum since menu items do not seem to support the accessibility protocol, and, it appears, that accessibility to menu items is purely through the menu item title.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
