Apparently the dictionary deamon (Control-Command-D) uses the accessibility API to do its work. However in my AXStaticText view it does not work. Does anyone know what is needed for the deamon to work? Does it only work for certain roles, and which ones, and moreover which (parametrized) attributes need to be implemented to make it work? I think my view supports Value, SelectedText, SelectedTextRange, NumberOfCharacters, VisibleCharacterRange, LineForIndex, RangeForLine, StringForRange, and BoundsForRange and of course the default attributes.
