Hi,
I don't know if the minority is on my side in this case, but before
Snow Leoard, I used to track the mouse a lot. It was one of my
favorite things about VoiceOver. Now, with the aforementioned double
speaking issue and the issues that using this mode makes for normal VO
functions, I have been forced to abandon the use of this feature.
This saddens me a great deal as I really miss the independance this
gives me as a low vision user.

One thing to keep in mind is that in general, having vo track the
mouse cursor is not what vo users do, they generally have it the
other way, where mouse cursor follows the vo cursor. Most vo users
(including myself) rarely ever touch the mouse, so concentrate on
making the app work well when vo commands are used, and the rest
will follow.
