Any ideas how to accomplish speaking keystrokes in 10.6? Code my own prefpane? A macro program that speaks 'x' when I press the x key? I suppose that I could attach half a dozen different AppleScripts to speak the keys I need that the solution I've found doesn't cover?
I'm trying WordQ <http://www.goqsoftware.com/> which I'm shocked hasn't made it on to <http://www.apple.com/accessibility/resources/macosx.html>. Although it's a lot more affordable than any other solution that I've found, the UI needs some minor work. I suspect that it is a straight PC port for a couple of reasons.
If Voiceover and/or Universal Access is tweaked in Lion, I'll only use the very good word prediction in WordQ. Actually, the pieces are already there in Snow Leopard. Can someone forward my requests for inclusion in a future service pack? _______________________________________________
