Hi Everett. Yes; you are on the correct list to at least receive some feedback about this subject.
I haven't used the IPhone development emulator yet, and I haven't heard about the experiences of any blind IPhone developers, so I don't have an immediate solution for you. However, since multitouch input is so essential to the operation of the IPhone's interface, it would stand to reason that there would at least be some level of support for using the multitouch track pads on the MacBook Pros for simulating multitouch input. If there isn't, then there should be. Is VoiceOver included in the emulated environment? If so, the most elegant solution to your problem would be to disable VO on the Mac, enable VO in the emulator, and use the track pad for input.

Subject: Testing iPhone applications
Good morning,
If this is the incorrect list to ask this question I would appreciate someone pointing me to the proper resource.
I am a blind developer and I have recently started looking at iPhone development in Snow Leopard. I am obviously using VoiceOver on my Mac.
I am wondering how a blind developer can build and run iPhone applications on a Mac, considering that iPhone Simulator does not appear to be accessible with VoiceOver?
Thank you,
Everett
