In UIBrowser it always indicates for my AXApplication that AXFocusedUIElement is the application itself, but I am not sure from which point in time UIBrowser obtains this info, because my app looses focus when I click on anything in UIBrowser and I'm not sure if UIBrowser updates the info again.
You can use UI Browser and keep it in the background by holding down the Command key while you click UI elements in the UI Browser window. Also, there are preference settings in UI Browser to keep it in the background when you use hot keys, etc. |
