Hi there!
I'm currently looking into making Adium a bit more accessible. The team has done a great job already with 1.5, but there are some things that still need work.
One of those areas is the switching between the entry and the output area. VoiceOver+J (that's Ctrl+Option+J) "go to linked item" did not work at all before 1.5, and now, whenever one returns to the HTML content, one is thrown to the top of the area, not the last read message, even though one pressed Ctrl+J to go to the entry from an item other than the top of the output.
In Messages, obviously, it brings the user back to the last read item.
What is it that I have to do to get this working right? I suspect it has something to do with the NSAccessibilityLinkedUIElementsAttribute
Is this assumption correct? What does the array need to be that is linked to the input? The whole set of children for that HTML content area? Or is there another way I can get this working?
Thanks,
Marco
