I have an odd issue that I am trying to determine if it's my device or a bug in VO.
Sometimes when VO is running I can't adjust values on adjustable items like sliders or custom elements using UIAccessibilityTraitAdjustable. The hints indicating the item is adjustable are still announced however when I flick up or down VO performs the standard flick up and down command (in my case vertical navigation) instead of adjusting the control. At first I thought this was a bug in my application but upon further investigation I was able to reproduce it using the Settings app and in all cases when this happens I can turn off VO and then turn it back on again and the problem is resolved.
