[ANN] New version 1.0.8 of Accessibility Testbench

  • Subject: [ANN] New version 1.0.8 of Accessibility Testbench

Today I posted new version 1.0.8 of my free developer utility Accessibility Testbench to <http://pfiddlesoft.com/accessibilitytestbench>. You can download full source code as well as a DMG with the built application and a short Read Me. The source code is heavily commented.

Accessibility Testbench demonstrates how to gain greater control over the process of granting your assistive applications access to the computer using accessibility features in OS X 10.9 Mavericks. You can present custom alerts as modal alerts or sheets, with your own wording, instead of using the built-in system modal alert provided by the new AXIsProcessTrustedWithOptions function. You can also monitor the user's granting or denying access to your assistive applications in System Preferences and respond as you wish. Finally, you can clear the entire Accessibility list in the Privacy pane of Security & Privacy preferences with the push of a button to test your assistive application's behavior when it is first granted access on a computer.
