Hi Boris.
Yes, you are correct, I was referring to NSAccessibilityAnnouncementRequestedNotification. When I post the notification to NSApp only, I get no announcements from VoiceOver, neither in full screen or a normal size window.

Let me know if you can think of anything else. :)
