We are having an iBeacon app, which fires an event whenever a user entering a region.
We would like to use VoiceOver (or SpeechSynth) to speech some information while the app might be in background (or maybe not active at all).
We've tried calling : - UIAccessibilityPostNotification(UIAccessibilityAnnouncementNotification, "Some information")

speechSynth.speakUtterance(speechUtterance)
but nighter of them seems to work.
Is it possible to achieve?
