I also noticed this in a personal web project, and opted for the for-and-id
pattern to prevent the double-label from VoiceOver in WebKit-based browsers on
macOS.
Fixing this would help reduce the complexity of my code, which has
dynamically-created form elements and therefore requires that I generate and
track IDs.
