On my screen under Eudora, I see an e-acute in the line where I appended
"<------".

Rather weird that two e-acute's you send from the same smtp server (I
suppose), 24 hours apart, display differently. Maybe the list server is
still moving.

Oh, unless two different ascii codes are giving the same e-acute. Mine is
142 (hexa 8E).
