It's not too surprising that the applications tend not to look for a
<<class prdt>> parameter in an oapp event, given that the printed Inside
Mac says nothing about that possibility (which didn't exist at that time).
I haven't looked at the online version of that part of Inside Mac, so I
don't know whether the prdt is mentioned there or not.
