If I recall correctly, the ordinate (x axis) is the radius multiplied by
the sine of the angle, and the absiscca (y axis) is the radius multiplied
by the cosine of the angle.

The sin and cosine are equal for a 450 angle; the value is 0.707, so the
covrdinate in this case is 25,25 (to the nearest integer).

That is, if I remember my 10th grade geometry correctly.
