Disappearing script window

  • Subject: Disappearing script window

When writing scripts in Script Editor, sometimes after running them the
script window would disappear. It would still be in the Windows menu, but
wouldn't be shown. Selecting it from the Windows menu would do nothing, and
I woouldn't be able to save because the window isn't active. The only way I
can find of making the window reappear is to quit and re-open Script Editor.

I've figured out this usually happens (maybe always) when using this code:
if progressBar = true then display progress pBar with disposal
--Akua Sweets (I have 1.25)

I've had this problem a couple of times now, and can't figure out how to
resolve it. I think it's something to do with Akua Sweets. I'm using
AppleScript 1.3.7 and Script Editor 1.1.3 with Mac OS 8.6.
