If you have FM5 go to the file menu and select "New Database." Change
the rectangle near the top that says "Templates" to "Tips from Tech
Support." Open the db. Examples of a self join method are in there.

In the "FileMaker and Apple Events" folder is an AppleScript example
(slower) - "FileMaker and Apple Events:Sample Applications: Deleting
Duplicates:"
