automatically?":
Dear Scripters!
After everones help we've managed to put together a simple script tha ftp's
files to a remote server.
This works great if executing the script manually (clicking run inthe script
editor) but we're using a system extension called cron that executes apps at
specified times. This just opens up the script in the script editor - that's
good if I want to edit the script at 4am in the morning but I need to
execute!
Has anyone got any ideas how I can get it to run instead? I've trued saving
it as compiled/run only but an alert pops up saying can't open this as it's
run only?
I've never used cron (I use T-Minus Ten for my automation needs), but
does cron offer different commands (such as Run, Launch, Open)? It
sounds like it is issuing an "Open" command when it should be a "Run"
command. I ran into the same problem when using T-Minus Ten until I
dug a little deeper.
