Script Spy

Greetings :-)

For anyone who might be interested, here's the URL for my script inspector, now known as Script Spy. :p

In a nutshell, it reads a resource in a script (including Read Only) and then compares it to a list of pre-defined events. If a match is found, the user will be notified, allowing them to make a somewhat informed decision on whether or not to run the script. Modify theCriteria to suit your needs.

The script has been tested under OS 9.0.4 only. With the Preferred Memory set to 300K, I've run a 335K script through it with no apparent problems.

As far as I know, the only third party osax that it calls is Tanaka's osax 2.0.
Tanaka's osax, (c) Motoyuki Tanaka. <http://mtlab.ecn.fpu.ac.jp/tanaka_osax.html>

Feedback is welcome. :-)

For those celebrating Christmas, Merry Christmas to You and Yours. To everyone else, have a great one. :-)

Good Night,
