RamDisk shutdown dialog

  • Subject: RamDisk shutdown dialog

I tried the program (I forget the name of it) to lose the idiotic dialog
warning that the contents of the Ram disk will be lost on shutdown, but it
won't run on OS9.

The whole concept of this dialog is at least twice redundant since by
nature the Ram disk is volatile, and no place to save anything permanent,
and anyway when the device is created there is an option to "Save the
contents to hard disk on Shutdown".

Why on earth would Apple put this dialog in the way of shutting down the
computer and walking away instead of hanging around to "Okay" the stupid
thing?

Greg
