Happy New Year to Everyone (almost anyways),
The goal: To have a droplet that lets me drag a .jpg onto it, and saves
a copy as a self-contained quicktime movie (in the same folder as the
original). Additionally, I want it to make the new copy have the same
name except ".mov" instead of ".jpg" at the end, and also make it 5
seconds long (I'll have others that make them 4,6,7,8,9, and 10
seconds).
I've started with the "Convert to QuickTime Format" droplet and "Save
Copy in QT Format" droplet in Quicktime 4.1 Scripts which I downloaded
from Apple. I'm cutting and pasting but to no avail. The Convert to
Quicktime gets rid of the original file, and the Save Copy droptlet asks
me which folder and doesn't accept .jpg's.
I guess the first question is which script am I better off starting
with? Then, how do I save the name differently, Then how do I make it 5
seconds long?
Any and all help would be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Rich Rosenbaum
