Rerospect script

Hi

I have taken a peek at the scripts in the Retrospect backup applescripts folder. While they are great, I was wondering if anybody had any that they had done that were really cool. I would like to make a script that would quit all applications on the backup server computer (except retrospect of course) when the automatic backup starts and then start them up when finished. I have noticed that if I leave applications on when the backup is qoing on, I get a lot of errors from changed files.

TIA
Will
