If you continue to have problems with the interaction of FMP and AS, I
<highly> recommend asking questions on the FMP mailing list. There are a
couple of people there (one being Dr. Sheila Greibach) who are extremely
well-informed, enthusiastically helpful, and (Dr. Sheila particularly) able
to explain things clearly.

The only problem with the list is that it is TOO active; I've joined and
quit at least three times, and I've always quit because my involvement with
FMP does not justify the volume of mail I was getting.
