:-)

ZipIt's up to 1.4 now - 1.3.7 having been released in August 1997, 1.3.8
in September 1997, and 1.4 in September last year. I can't copy/paste the
details from from the DocMaker readme document, but basically there have
been many bug fixes, several new features, and more efficient code. ZipIt
often (but not always) produces smaller archives than DropStuff or
StuffIt Commands (the latter two often producing archives that are larger
than the original files!) and has the convenience of drag-and-drop
operation. It's also handy for when I send compressed files to my
PC-wielding brother. [Blush.] I've never tried the full version of
StuffIt so I don't know how it compares with this, apart from its only
handling one format (though in several ways).
