Can a script receive AppleEvents?

  • Subject: Can a script receive AppleEvents?

I'd like to write a script designed to respond to specific AppleEvents. I
would then like to have that script redirect the event to an app on a
different machine.

For example, I'd like a script to respond to the OpenURL event that Outlook
Express responds to, and then redirect that event to Outlook Express on
another machine. Can someone show me an example of how to do this?

Also, please CC: me, as I get the digest and might miss any answer posted to
the list.

TIA,
