I was basing my statement on its dictionary. It doesn't list any elements
that belong to a text window, and it doesn't show any classes supporting
whose clauses. Windows, for example, are shown as being able to be referred
to "by numeric index, by name, by ID". No mention of test or filter.

My apologies if I misrepresented BBEdit's capabilities -- my defence is that
it does too.
