The files used for the Help Viewer are in HTML format not AppleScript. You

Thanks for your response John,
I don't think that my email was too clear as to the problem.
I was (am) trying to use Applescript to get the Help Viewer to open some
HTML pages within a specified help book for a demonstration piece -to access
a product of ours which is accessible through the help center-.
On the first run the AS worked fine and the specified pages opened. But
since I can't even access the Help Center by manually selecting it via the
Finder! The Help Viewer app runs but the pages will not open. So, somehow,
it seems, the AS has corrupted the HV app.
The pages will open in another browser, but crash it when hyperlinks are
pressed.
I was just wondering whether anyone else has had Help Viewer misbehave after
running an Applescript that accesses it?
