I think Akua Sweet's "capture region" command will do what you want...
Hehe... two Chris Stone's on the same thread.. :-)

What I'm trying to do is make my script take pictures of open windows
(I have some TCP/IP checking scripts running, like Ipnetmonitor & Whatroute)
These windows come up every 3 hours at the same desktop position and do
their work, than after 260 seconds I want to make a snapshot of every window
(3 of them) I accomplised to script the "command, shift + 3" trio, wich
captures the whole screen. And with Jon's Commands I can execute the "FKEY
4" command, wich is simmilar to the "command, shift + 4" trio.
If I can make the capslock activate before the FKEY 4 function, I can mouse
click on the window to take the window snapshot....
I cant seem to get the Capslock down with an scripting OSAX :-(
Thanks for input,
Jacco
I found out that my problem lies with the fact that I can't seem to script
the Capslock key.. Al the osaxen that I've tried, use the capslock while
typing not to switch the capslock
Has anyone more luck scripting a capslock key?

Hello Jacco,
What are you trying to accomplish? I thought you wanted to do a full screen
dump not just a window capture.
Best Regards,
Chris
