Thanks to everyone who responded to the cry for help from the Great White North...

The crisis is over (imagesetter back up and running) for today. Given the lack of support from Adobe for some basic functionality in Acrobat, I've shifted gears and am looking at simply using one of RIPs (a Harlequin) to output a TIFF file of each classified page.

The next step will be to script page creation and image placement in Xpress, but that's *relatively* easy.
