AppleScript automagically replaces the application identity with the
application
name, this is usually a good thing; but you have discovered the rub.
The usual way to get around the problem is to rename the original application
files so that AppleScript can tell the difference be tween them.
Unfortunately, from what I've heard, this is not an option for FileMaker.
Let me know if you try it.
