Nate thanks for the advise. I am thinking of opening the filen in the
input, processing it in the ap and then "save as" to the output location.
You never have to deal with a temp folder, but you must keep track of
what is in the infolder.
The big problem I see comes in a couple of weeks and gets worse with
time. Right now I am doing one set of folders. This is to show that it
will work and get the bugs out. Then I need to quickly add another 7
pairs of folders. As we add business we get two more folders with every
one. So I have to keep track of a larger and larger number of files.
The other approach is to have a folder action on each folder, have it add
a prefix or suffix to the file name so when it is done being processed it
can be moved to the correct folder using the name. If something dies
then you can also find the files, which otherwise just are a bunch of
numbers with something easy to search in the finder....
