Just that, if simply putting ".zip" on a file causes it to get zipped,
<something> must be doing the zipping. What? I don't need to know, but I
thought it might be good if <you> did. In case something breaks some day.

It's a function of True Finder Integration (TFI), which is a part of StuffIt Deluxe.
