Until the automatic updating of the time from the Internet sets the clock
back (or during the second hour which runs from 1AM to 2AM on the last

In other words, the names will be unique until the worst possible
moment...then the key memo to the CEO will be lost.

I agree, it isn't foolproof as is, but I reckon one could build something into the script to check for duplication and deal with it in a desirable manner.
