But that isn't Tim's point. Here is what Eric sent me, verbatim and in toto

With no disparaging intent toward Eric Zelenka (who is a great guy, great Mac
person, and great software developer based on all available information),
this is a bit vague. I assume "Mac" CGI means Applescript, but what exactly
is the server of MacOS X Server? Is it Apache, or a proprietary
Apple/ASIP/NeXT hybrid beast? If Apache, I share your concerns re: GPL, and
if not, where does that leave Apache on MacOS X? It would be nothing less
than a darn shame to leave it unable to run Applescript CGIs.
