Chris,
I wanted to update you on what I've discovered during debugging of my
script. I am receiving this error while trying to get "info for" an object
that resides on an NT4 SFM volume. I'm only trying to determine if the
object is a file or folder so that I can parse through the contents of a
directory and log them.
Here's the code:
Set itemInfo to info for itemPath
Where itemPath is the path to the object as text. Funny, I only seem to be
receiving this error with one file. I've checked the file in question and
it appears to be OK, I can edit it with Quark (it's a production file) and
the Get Info command in the Finder returns all the proper information.
