Alex:

I don't use AS to create discs using Toast, and am embarrassed to say I'd
forgotten that Toast was scriptable. (I gotta start coming to the
meetings.)

If I have a collection of files, I make a new folder with the name I want
for the CD, and place all the files in that folder. This may not be the
answer you're looking for, but it is a way of naming the resulting disc.
