Office and Visual Basic

  • Subject: Office and Visual Basic

Hi,

as I read in earlier postings, scripting of word is mostly done via
encapsulating calls to Visual Basic scripts into AppleScript. My first
Problem on this is that I cannot get Visual Basic running on my Office 98
(MacOS 8.6). Everytime I try anything that deals with VB macros, Office says
that it is not able to "save the macro" or something like this (I have a
german version and it actually says "Der Makro konnte nicht erstellt
werden").

Thank you,
frank Renner
