I just want to say how great I think this list is and thanks for everyone's help. I really appreciate it.
Hans: Thank you very much. That line was driving me nuts and I really did not want to have to grab all the document properties seems how I only want the file path.
JJ: Thanks, and yes, I am printing postscript files and I did run into the problem you were describing along with another. If I try to save the postscript to a mounted drive it wants to name the postscript the same name as the Quark document so I get an error. (Wish I knew a bit more about how postscript file were created.)
I am however, doing as you suggested, saving the postscript to the temporary items folder and then copying it to the correct folder. So far this seems to work for mounted volumes as well.
