When we can9t see the pattern of events, we call it random. So when we want
to predict events that we don9t see the pattern of, we use "random" events.
Being modern, we use computers. But these only add a further complication:
you can9t produce random results systematically. So we invent pseudo-random
series (pretending that the degree of randomness was good enough).
So there you go... can9t you believe in that?
No wonder this technology is being used to "win" the lottery ;-)
