Newbie Question

Okay..I've had about a week's instruction here and I'm probably missing
something obvious.

I'm crafting a folder action script. The purpose is to open a dialog box
when the folder is selected giving the user "Agree" and "Disagree" buttons.
Agree gives them access to the files, Disagree closes the folder. I would
like to have the restricted folder inside another folder... The action
attached to the "parent" folder. I'd like to set the restricted folder to be
invisible... I used File Buddy to do this and when I do, my Applescript
won't see the folder. I know there is a way to make items visible with
Applescript, so I assume there is some way to make it see invisible files...
I just can't seem to get it figured out. Any help would be appreciated.
