FinderPop runs compiled scripts

Hi All,

This is just something I came across by accident (OS 9.0.4, AS 1.4, SE
1.4.3). Thinking it might be beneficial to someone on the list, I decided to
post it. Sorry if this is a little off topic or has been addressed before.

If you have FinderPop <http://www.finderpop.com/>, selecting a compiled
script from the popup contents of a folder runs the script, similar to OSA
Menu (and who-knows-how-many other programs). Potential Downfalls of OSA
menu have been discussed on this list, so this is another alternative to
running compiled scripts outside of an editor. Of course, there aren't
keyboard shortcuts, but if OSA Menu is causing conflicts, this might work.

Also, you can set saved-as-app script to f-keys, but compiled scripts open
in the Script Editor.

Again, sorry if off-topic or repeating,

HTH Someone,

Greg
