Hi,
I played with your script and here what I came up with...
say text returned of (display dialog "Say what?" default answer "") using
"Zarvox"
That should all be on one line.
I don't think you need to tell the finder anything--and the reason you can't
use the "using" of the 'say' command is 'cause you need to put "" around the
voice you want--since it's a string.
