Parsing a Eudora Directory Services record

  • Subject: Parsing a Eudora Directory Services record

I'm attempting to create using the data format below a "record" in
Applescript so that I can reliably access the fields to copy into my
Filemaker database.

The format is as below: with each field separated by a return "\r"
I copy it using "set dsData to (selected text of the front window)", it
looks good in SD,but I cannot access the data as I expect.

ie set email_address to (mail of dsData)

"objectClass: organizationalPerson | person | Top
rdn: NURK
cn: Nurk, Gyuri
distinguishedName: cn=NURK,cn=Recipients,ou=Bristol,o=Fleetwood
rfc822Mailbox: email@hidden

title: Director"

any suggestions please?

John
