also produced "look-up list" methods, one of my favorites is the one done

I can't imagine it would be all that hard to get into AppleScript.
I think it all goes back to AppleScript's original design philosophy,
and to the nature of AppleEvent data-types. The problem is that as
AppleScript's uses have changed and been added to, it's overall design
has not. Many users want to be able to use AppleScript for more than
just throwing AppleEvents around, but they feel thwarted at every turn.
