Rule below in QuarkXPress glitch - (bug?)

  • Subject: Rule below in QuarkXPress glitch - (bug?)

I've created a script for QuarkXPress which does a pretty good job of
listing all the colors used in a document without resorting to using repeat
statements - except for "rule below"s and "rule above"s part...

copy (name of color of rule below of paragraphs of every story) to x

...which fails. The result of this is typically {"blue","blue","blue"},
where in fact it should read something akin to {"red","green","blue"}.

The result actually lists the color of last instance of the rule below only,
and for the number of rule belows that it finds.

Does anyone have any clues to resoving this without having to resort to
looping thru every paragraph?

Many thanks,

David Lloyd
