Quit an application

Hello,

I want to make an Applescript to quit an application that I don't know if it is running or not.

My original script is :


tell application "MyApp"

quit

end tell


I would like to test if "MyApp" is running or not , and I don't know how.


If someone has any suggestion, it could be great !!!
