"open for access" can take a file reference, like,
file "Macintosh HD:Work:MyTextFile"
which can refer to a file that doesn't exist yet. Also, if you have either the
"Jon's Commands" or "Akua Sweets" scripting additions, you can use a string.
(The scripting additions have coercions that can change a string into an alias
or a file system specification; a file system specification is what the file
reference produces when evaluated.)
