Agree, but it's still cheating.

I'll admit, I once toyed with the idea of changing the creation date of a
file as an ill attempt to cover for a missed deadline. Ooops, did I say
missed deadline? I 've never missed a deadline! Believe me, I'm not lying.

As John says, "it merely hides it."

Won't disk and file repair utilities catch and offer to fix these files? IE:
Norton Utilities and BAD creation dates. And what I mean is files that have
an altered creation date, not files that were created in 1904 as a result of
someone's computer clock being off. I think it would be hard to keep track
of files with modified creation dates if one was to alter more than a few
and you'd have to instruct Norton's (or whatever program) NOT to fix them.

And also, I'd be more concerned about file corruption. I don't know. Does
altering the creation date of a file lead to possible file corruption in any
way? Just curious.
